Lunar Mansions
Overview and Table of Contents

The lunar mansions come to us through classical astrology. They are a further way of dividing each sign into three seperate parts, except with the Lunar Mansions, the segments overlap from sign to sign. In the end you still have the 360° circle, but these divisions are in segments of 12°, 51' and 26" apart.

The explanations given for each and the magickal workings are based upon older constructs and ideas and may not apply directly toward modern circumstances when you read them. However by adapting the general meaning and applying modern ideas to same you should be able to utilize them, and the timing to perfome particular rituals and spells to net the best possible results.

This methodology is by far not one that is used for quick changes, as planning and timing are of key essence when utilizing lunar mansions with your rituals and spells. But if properly considered you can increase the potential working of same by utilizing these with other planning stages.

One thing to always remember, nothing happens overnight and planning is essential in magickal workings. So if you're looking for just quick answers seek the mundane approach and take appropriate action. Often this works far better than magickal methods and the results are a lot more long term.
