Purple Sage Agate

Purple sage agate is an agate which has been recently found in Arizona, USA, and which resembles, in colour and in formation, the Holly Blue Agate. It is similar in appearance to the Ellensburg blue agate, except that the blue coloring includes a tinge of violet. The combination of these colours produces a lovely violet-blue agate which occurs in seams, masses, and druses.

This mineral has been found to activate the occurence of change by assisting one to love oneself. It further stimulates empathy - not sympathy - such that one may truly understand the conditions and situations of others. Also helping one to follow ones own inner convictions, it produces a strength for one to be "true" to the self.

This mineral has been used in the treatment of emphysema, the reproductive system, and depression. It has also been successful in use in the therapy for debilitating conditions, and in the treatment of disorders of the throat and brain.
