| The Ten of Swords is one of the cards of the Minor Arcana. Depicted
on this card is a man lying prone with ten swords piercing his back in a straight line. The ten location
of the ten swords is significant as they are piercing the ten chakras. Though this card may seem to
show an unusually violent death it really shouldn't be interpreted as same. This is a card when it
comes into the spread actually indicates that the person hasn't got things in the proper perspective
they are though it's a card of completion actually facing a karmatic completion and may have to repeat
or relearn a very painful lesson. This card can also represent a verbal backstabber or liar whom needs
to come to truth. Are you being careful with your words? or are you rumor mongering?

| There is a myriad of symbolisms on this and many of the other cards in
both the major and minor arcana. In order to present a comprehensive and easy to use as a reference source
set of pages for this and other cards, I will refrain from going into great detail regarding the individual
symbols on the cards. On a future date I will go over the more explicit aspects of them. If you have a
question regarding a particular symbol you can email me at Tamerin.
I would also like to hear from you on some of your interpretations of this particular card or any other
that you would like to discuss. Please use above email link. |
