Six of Cups

The Six of Cups is one of the cards of the Minor Arcana. Depicted on this card is two children playing together in a garden, placing flowers in a cup. There is a country thatched roof cottage in the background. The symbolism in this particular card depicts a fond childhood memory or memories of the past. Depending on the cards surrounding this particular card, this card may represent a delusion of false memories or desires for a happier past. This card can also represent sibling rivalries, as well as a person whom is obsessed with the past. When this card makes it's appearance it is there to say to you "Are you content with life as it is? Can you look back upon your life with fondness?" Or perhaps, even to say to you, Yesterday's over, it's time to start something different or new.
