Eight of Cups

The Eight of Cups is a card of the Minor Arcana. Depicted on this card is a man with a staff walking away from eight cups with the moon in all phases above the mountains. This is a card of rejecting current ideas or beliefs, whether for the best or the worse. It's a card of moving into the unknown without a current plan of action. I see the card as being one of trials, yet a new beginning. When this card comes into are spread it's there to remind us of a few things. Are we content with our current life situations? Have we become stagnant and so set in our ways that we feel trapped or alone? Are we ready to let go of old behaviors and regrets and to venture forward into a new way of thinking? This is a card of rejection, regrets, yet also one of changes and new beginnings.
