Nine of Swords

The Nine of Swords is one of the cards of the Minor Arcana. Depicted on this card is a woman sitting up in bed grieving nine swords hang on the wall besides her bed, and she is covered with a blanket with all the signs of the zodiac on it. When this card comes into the spread it indicates a person whom is depressed or is grieving. It's there to remind the person that it's okay to grieve however we must overcome grief and reach a level of acceptance and we cannot let it consume us.
