20. Judgement

Judgement is the twentieth card of the Major Arcana and the twentieth step in the Journey of life. Depictedd on this card is the Archangel Gabriel blowing the trumpet of God to awaken the dead a family of three rises from their coffins elated that their repose and period of waiting is at an end. This is a card of transition and a recognition that our lives and our destinies never cease. It's also a card of new beginnings and awakening. When Judgement blows it's horn and appears in our spread it's there to remind us "There is no end, just many beginnings."
We go through our lifes journey constantly worried about our fate or the end of our existance. When we are forced to make a choice. What comes at the end? What happens when I finally pass into the next realm? Is there a Heaven awaiting me? All these questions plague us daily. When this card comes into your spread it's there to tell you not to worry about death or the end but to enjoy living on a day to day basis. Death is merely a transition into new awareness. This card is a reminder of this fact.
