| The Wheel of Fortune is the tenth card of the Major Arcana and the tenth step of the journey of life. It is a card of completion of one cycle but a continuance into several more cycles. Here in the clouds is a talisman of life surrounded by the snake (knowlege) , a human figure with animal head (man's bestial nature), and a sphinx (spiritual awareness). In the four corners of the card there is a representation of the four fixed zodiac signs. (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius). When the Wheel of Fortune comes into your spread it's there to remind you that you are now at the point where you can grasp the concepts of life. It says to you "Life is what you make of it, so Get a handle on it!" | ||
| When The Wheel of Fortune comes into you spread it is there to make you aware of many different things. This card tends to come when you need it most, or you think you do. Time and time again we are often heard to say "I wish I had a little more luck", or "Lady Luck really doesnt like me all that much". When this card comes in it's there to make you sit back and take your priorities into account. It's there to ask you to take and realize what are wants and what are needs. "Are your needs being met?" Are you putting to much emphasis of what you don't have?" | ||
| There is a myriad of symbolisms on this and many of the other cards in both the major and minor arcana. In order to present a comprehensive and easy to use as a reference source set of pages for this and other cards, I will refrain from going into great detail regarding the individual symbols on the cards. On a future date I will go over the more explicit aspects of them. If you have a question regarding a particular symbol you can email me at Lord Mishael. I would also like to hear from you on some of your interpretations of this particular card or any other that you would like to discuss. Please use above email link. | ||
