Kite—A grand trine (two trine aspects) with another planet in an opposition aspect to one of the first three planets. The additional planet acts as an energy channel for the grand trine.
Koch House System—A system that begins by dividing the chart into four quadrants based on the MC and the IC of the chart. These quadrants are then subdivided into the houses by a measure of time (the time it takes for each sign to rise — see Ascension), as opposed to a measure of space between the signs. The Koch system is also called the Birth Place System and is similar to the older System of Alcabitius.
