Wandering Stars—Another term for the planets (including the Moon but not the Sun). Some astrologers and horoscopes still refer to these simply as 'the stars'.
Waning Moon—The Moon is waning (decreasing in light) in the fourteen days after the full Moon (Moon opposite the Sun) until its face is in shadow (Moon conjunct the Sun). Considered a time for reaping the rewards of plans implemented during the waxing Moon.
Water Signs—These are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, all feminine signs. Water is considered emotional, sensitive and intuitive in nature. In a natural wheel they occupy the Fourth, Eighth, and Twelfth Houses.
Waxing Moon—The Moon is waxing (increasing in light) in the fourteenth days after a new Moon (Moon conjunct the Sun) until it becomes a full Moon (Moon opposite the Sun). Considered a good time for making and putting plans into action.
West Point—The point (also called the equatorial descendant) where the western horizon intersects the path of the Sun.
